Memory maps on Flickr are an interesting use of the comment feature paired with satellite images (most seem to come from Google Maps). A nice way to memorialize a trip or someplace you’ve lived. It also seems like a great opportunity to connect geotags with the maps to make them even more interactive. Instead of just seeing a comment when you mouse over the location, you could view photos taken by anyone who has tagged them with that location. I’m sure someone has probably already figured this out.
